I will make sure my children read Harry Potter, and I'll make sure my grandchildren will read Harry Potter. It will never end. Every time a child opens the first book for the first time, it begins agian.
Omg, yes, like my mum makes me read Jane Austen, they will read JK Rowling, and they will cheer when Gryffindor wins the House Cup for the first time in years, and they will be holding their breath as Harry defeats the basilisk and they will be shocked when Sirius turns out to be innocent, rooting for Harry in the tournament and wishing for Umbridge's resignation, curious about where Malfoy goes to and bored of all the marshes, devastated at Hedwig's death and sobbing at Dobby's, thrilled when Teddy is born and horrified when his parents die. They will read the books and they will care just as much as I do what happens to these characters. I'm sure of it. Harry Potter will never end, not for those who believe.
No story lives unless someone wants to listen. Those we love best, live with us forever. Whether we come back by page, or by big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home.
NEVER. It lives on in our hearts, minds - we are so fortunate to have been part of the generation who has grown up and developed with, and emerged into the world as these books have! We can tell our kids about it We are part of such an awesome part of history!!!
