I say it IS just a site...but a wonderful site, that has brought me in contact with much beauty of souls and art that I would have otherwise never seen.
Plus, it is probably the only site that I do not have family on as well, so I have a lot more freedom here than I feel I do other places.

deviant art has helped me through some tough times, and it can sometimes be just what i need to pull me out of low points in my life, just to see beauty through the eyes of others...

Yeah, I can totally believe life without dA.

I frequently forget it exists, only to wise up a week later and delete the several hundred updates that have accumulated.

It's an art sharing site, not a way of life.

I wouldn't have all the friends I do now. And its helped me so much with my shyness. Its really been a great place for me to grow plus I can draw now! I couldn't really do that before XD

I think I can imagine it, but it's so awful my brain rejects the image, so I can't be sure.

I love talking to other artists and seeing the creativity of others. When you live in a small town and want to live in the city, this is a necessity.
