I don't comment on journals often, but I will this time. I absolutely love your style. It's actually one of my top favorites that every time I get on and you have something submitted I'm excited to see a new picture, even if it's not Harry Potter related.
Hell, I read the Hunger Games because you had a picture about it. I had been too busy with college before to even realize those books were out there.
oh, when I wrote, "Why are you so negative??" I didn't mean to put two ??s. That sounds very defensive, but I really only meant to write one question mark. I just didn't want to offend you, but I do want to be straight up with you.
Viria, why are you so negative?? I don't mean to be rude, but if you are really that unhappy with your style, then stop complaining and DO something about it. You're always improving to me, each piece is better and better, but you're not changing your style. That has stayed the same. I think that is because you are afraid to step out of your bubble. I understand, I struggle with it, too, all artists struggle with it to an extent. It's something we all have to learn. But your style isn't going to change just because you write all these melancholy journals about it. You are a VERY talented artist, THAT is obvious. YOU just need to get out of your own head. USE your talent, and make something happen! Love, Ruthie
well,I am not negative..only sometimes..but I really can't do anything with the style only because I don't know how to do thisI wish that my university will teach me something newww
Style? I'm sorry to say, but if you think what you are drawing now is a 'style' stop thinking it. I'm not saying this out of maliciousness, I'm just saying if you settle for this thing you have now as being 'your style' you will never progress. It might be in your best interest to not think of it as your style, just sort of.. you know, progress in your artistic growth.
and you are young, you have to grow it into something. It wont be spectacular if you don't go outside this bubble you made for your work. I've looked through your gallery, Try something new. Venture outside of deviantart for inspiration, because if you stay here, you will get nowhere quickly. The rest of the growing art community looks outside this website, you should start doing the same from what I can see.
finally someone sayed something useful. I know that I never go outside of this bubble,as you sayed, and I want something new,but can't draw good all these life-drawings,they usually turn out even worse than majority of my..pictures.and it's quite hard to learn something new, especially in digital coloring and drawing in general just because noone do this in my country, and drawing is too undeveloped here. but I will try something new..I know that I have to. and thanks for such a long comment.
