Unpopular opinion, but I think Azula deserved better. I mean, she admitted that it hurt that her own mother thought she was a monster, she was betrayed by everyone closest to her, and then went insane and was put into a mental institution. She was a beautiful character with a tragic downfall, and I think that her arc was pretty well written. But still. You can't help but feel bad for her, right?
